Thank God for Saturday Pickup!

This two-pound, eight-week-old kitten was found in a Boston public mailbox on Saturday, June 13, 2009. Initially named "Postina" by the mailman who found her, the kitten was shoved through the narrow letter slot and fell several feet down into the near empty mailbox sometime after the preceeding Friday evening pickup.

Yesterday, June 22, the kitten was permanently adopted by another postal worker and his wife living in New Hampshire and was renamed "P.D." or "Postage Due".
